Affiliation

Kokoro Aiki Dojo - being part of Harmonia Budo Club - is the member of Sansuikai International which connects us to Aikikai Foundation through the technical leadership of Yoshimitsu Yamada shihan.

Membership

The dojo is constantly open for new members. We don't have too serious conditions, here are the most important ones:
  1. Any health related problem which can keep one from regular physical exercise or sports must be reported to the instructor before the first session, and it is mostly advisable to get the opinion of a physician as well.
  2. You must be at least 16 years old to join the dojo. Under this age we may only accept your application if there is an adult taking responsibility for you during each session.
  3. There are a few essential rules to keep basic security, hygiene and discipline. Every member has to keep to these rules.

Equipment

For your first training you should bring some loose comfortable clothes without buttons or zippers.

When you have decided to make a commitment to your Aikido training you will want to purchase the full uniform and set of weapons to participate most effectively in all trainings.
